Lump-Sum Unemployment Advance
Plain English
It's the option to take all your remaining NASpI as a lump sum, to use it as capital for a new business or self-employment activity. You give up the monthly stream in exchange for one upfront payment.
Why it matters
It\'s an underused tool for people opening a partita IVA or a small business after losing a job. The lump sum can fund equipment, first-year contributions, or rent for a small workspace.
Real example
"After leaving his job in Caserta, Iulian planned to open a small repair workshop. He asked INPS for NASpI anticipata to fund the initial setup costs, in exchange for ending his monthly benefit."
Common confusion
Once you take the lump sum, the monthly NASpI stream is gone. If your business doesn\'t take off, you can\'t go back to receiving the unemployment in instalments.
