It was a monthly income-support benefit launched in 2019 for low-income households in Italy. It was abolished in 2024 and replaced by the Assegno di Inclusione and Supporto per la Formazione e il Lavoro.
Why it matters
If you read older guides about Italian welfare, RdC is everywhere. Today it no longer exists as a separate benefit, and applicants need to look at AdI or SFL instead.
Common confusion
RdC and Assegno di Inclusione are not the same scheme. The rules, target groups, and amounts are different, and one replaced the other.
