It's a prepaid Poste Italiane card loaded by INPS for low-income people over 65 or for very young children (under 3). It can be used at participating shops and to pay utilities, with a small monthly amount.
For the families that qualify, it's a small but ongoing support for groceries and basic bills. Eligibility is tight and ISEE-based.
It's a different scheme from the Assegno di Inclusione card. Both go through Poste Italiane, but they're separate programs with separate eligibility.
