Old-Age Pension

It's the standard Italian old-age pension. You access it at the legal retirement age (currently 67, with periodic updates linked to life expectancy) provided you have a minimum number of years of contributions.
Why it matters
It\'s the default pension most workers eventually receive. The amount depends mainly on your contributions over your working life, calculated under the contributivo system for most people today.
Common confusion
The retirement age can shift due to life-expectancy adjustments. Always check the latest INPS table when planning, not the figure you read 5 years ago.
