14th-Month Salary
Plain English
It's a 14th-month salary, paid in some CCNLs in addition to the 13th. When it exists, it usually arrives in June or July to help with summer holidays.
Why it matters
Whether you receive one depends entirely on your CCNL. Some sectors (like commerce and tourism) include it, others don\'t.
Real example
"At her hotel job in Lipari, Stamatia's CCNL provided a quattordicesima paid in late June. It landed roughly at the start of the high season, just before her summer expenses."
Common confusion
A higher annual RAL doesn\'t automatically mean a quattordicesima exists. Check your CCNL and contract before counting on one.
