Family Reunification Authorisation

It's the SUI\'s authorisation for a family member to apply for a family-reunification visa from abroad. The sponsor in Italy starts the process by filing the application online and attaching housing, income, and family documents.
Why it matters
Without this nulla osta in hand, the relative abroad can\'t book a family visa appointment. It also kicks off the legal protections that come with the family route.

Common confusion
