Equipollenza

Full Recognition / Equivalence

It's the formal recognition that a foreign qualification has the same legal value as a specific Italian one. It\'s stricter than a CIMEA comparability statement and usually required for regulated professions or public-sector competitions.

For jobs like teaching in state schools or practising as a regulated professional, you often need full equipollenza, not just a comparability attestation. The procedure can take months or years.

"To teach in a state school in Senigallia, Andriana sought equipollenza for her Ukrainian education degree through the Ministry of Education. She had to add curriculum descriptions, hours, and translated transcripts."

Equipollenza is full equivalence to an Italian title. Comparability is a softer statement of similar level. They\'re different documents, with different uses.
