Recognition of Foreign Qualifications

It's the official recognition of a foreign qualification in Italy. Depending on the field, it can mean a CIMEA attestation, an equipollenza decree, or recognition by a professional order.
Why it matters
Without the right form of recognition, you may not be able to enrol in advanced studies, take a public job competition, or practise a regulated profession in Italy.

Common confusion
There isn\'t a single recognition path. Each profession and each level (academic vs professional) has its own authority and procedure. Find the right one before sending documents anywhere.
