It\'s the form your household fills in to get an ISEE. You declare income, assets, family members, and a few other things, and INPS uses it to calculate your ISEE value. Most of the boring bits are pre-filled from official databases.
Why it matters
No DSU, no ISEE, no discounted nursery, no Assegno Unico, no university fee bracket. It\'s the gateway form for the whole means-tested benefits system.
Real example
"To request the AUU for her newborn in Verona, Sara filed a DSU online through her SPID. It pulled her tax returns and bank balances automatically, and the ISEE was ready within 10 working days."
Common confusion
Every adult in the household has to sign or authenticate, even if they don\'t earn anything. Missing a signature is the most common reason a DSU comes back with a red flag.
