Student Lease Contract

It's a special lease form designed for university students living away from home, lasting between 6 and 36 months. Rents follow canone concordato rules in many cities. Multiple students can sign as co-tenants.
Why it matters
It\'s the standard contract used in university cities and gives access to certain student-friendly tax benefits and easier early exits. Landlords get the same cedolare benefits as canone concordato.

Common confusion
Only enrolled students in a different province from their family\'s residenza usually qualify. The landlord may ask for an iscrizione certificate to prove it before signing.
