It's a Schengen short-stay visa (Type C) for business trips: client meetings, conferences, trade fairs, or short professional missions. You can't use it to work as an employee in Italy.
If your country needs a visa for short stays, this is the standard route for typical business trips. Stays are limited to 90 days in 180.
It doesn't allow you to take a job from an Italian employer or to start providing services regularly inside Italy. For that, you need a work visa.
