It's an official extract from the catasto: a snapshot of a property\'s details, including its identification, rendita catastale, surface area, and owners. You can order it online with SPID or CIE.
Why it matters
Buyers, sellers, landlords, tenants, and lenders all use the visura to confirm a property\'s technical and tax data. A mismatch between actual layout and the catasto can block sales or trigger fines.

Common confusion
The visura is a tax-side document, not a legal proof of ownership. Ownership itself is tracked in the registri immobiliari, which is a separate database.
