Family Status Certificate
Plain English
It's a certificate from the anagrafe listing the people registered at the same address as you. It\'s often used to prove household composition for benefits, taxes, and immigration paperwork.
Why it matters
ISEE, family reunification, social housing, and many bonuses depend on who is in your stato di famiglia. Keeping it accurate matters when people move in or out.
Real example
"To request a school benefit for her son in Sassari, Marcin's wife downloaded a stato di famiglia from ANPR using her SPID. The PDF showed the household composition at a glance."
Common confusion
Stato di famiglia is not the same as a family-relationship certificate. It just lists who is registered at the address, not the legal family ties between them.
