Intra-Corporate Transferee Permit

It's a residence permit for non-EU employees transferred from a foreign branch of a multinational to its Italian arm, as managers, specialists, or trainees. It avoids the Decreto Flussi route and has its own conditions and duration.
Why it matters
For big companies moving staff to Italy, ICT is often the fastest and most predictable channel. The permit can later be combined with intra-EU mobility schemes.

Common confusion
ICT is for intra-corporate transfers within the same group. It\'s not a generic work permit, and changing employer freely isn\'t part of the deal.
