Why it matters
If you\'re working in Italy, INPS is the background body collecting your contributions and paying out almost every income-replacement benefit. Their online portal is one of the most-used public sites in the country.

Common confusion
INPS handles social insurance. Agenzia delle Entrate handles tax. Most people deal with both, but they\'re separate bodies with separate logins and portals.
