Postal Payment Slip for Residence Permit
Plain English
It's the postal payment slip you fill in to pay the permesso di soggiorno fee, made out to a specific Poste Italiane account number. The slip comes inside the yellow kit postale.
Why it matters
Without paying this exact bollettino at a post office, your permit application is incomplete and the postal counter won\'t accept it. Keep the receipt with your other application documents.
Real example
"After filling in his Modulo 1, Tarek queued at the Poste in Crotone, paid the bollettino at the cassa, and got it stamped along with his kit postale receipt."
Common confusion
The amount changes depending on the duration and type of permit. Check the latest fee table before filling in the number, since old kits sometimes float around with outdated amounts.
