RLI Lease Registration Form

It's the form used to register a lease contract or its later changes (renewals, terminations, cedolare secca options) with the Agenzia delle Entrate. Most landlords file it online.
Why it matters
Without an RLI filed within 30 days of signing, the lease isn\'t legally registered, registration tax penalties pile up, and your cedolare secca option may not stick.
Real example
"After signing his lease in Voghera, Manon's landlord filed Modello RLI online within a week. The receipt was forwarded to her so she could request residenza at the comune."
Common confusion
Both sides of the lease can be liable for late registration if it\'s missed. Even tenants have a legal interest in checking that the RLI was filed on time.
